New Start Transports - About us

New Start Transports is a youth transportation service that specializes in escorting at-risk youth safely to various youth therapeutic treatment programs, wilderness camps, and schools located in the United States and Internationally. We at New Start Transports personalize our youth transportation service to meet the needs of each youth, parent, and professional we serve. We train our youth transport team members to be familiarized with the therapeutic schools and programs we transport youth to. Although we are not a parent referral center, we are aware and involved closely with the youth treatment programs and wilderness camps we transport to. We make an extra effort to personally visit each of the schools and programs we offer transportation to. This involvement allows our youth transport team to prepare, support, and transition each youth and parent with confidence.

New Start Transports was founded by two former youth program participants and their parents. Many of our key staff have also been in similar situations to the parents and youth we serve. We have been able to overcome the obstacles we once faced through the help and tools received from the youth schools and programs we personally participated in. We founded this service with the pure intent of helping other parents and youth who are in the same or similar difficult situation we were in.

We also have an extensive professional background of working with youth and helping others in need of assistance. All of our program directors and staff have a personal page to provide parents with a greater, more personal insight of New Start Transports and the quality of service we provide.

New Start Transports intervenes and provides transportation of youth while providing compassionate support and comfort to parents and family members as we prepare them for the transport of their child.

We assist in the transportation of youth from their home, or any other location designed for pick-up, to the destination school, wilderness camp or youth program they are being placed in.
We train and certify our transport associates in CPI's Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) program. NCI is a crisis prevention program recognized world wide. Please visit www.crisisprevention.com for more information on this training program.
Many of our youth transport associates are trained and certified in Positive Control Systems (PCS). PCS, like NCI, is a crisis prevention program. PCS focuses most of its training on the verbal and non-physical de-escalation techniques. PCS provides in depth training in non-physically and physically de-escalating an out of control youth.
We utilize our experience in the youth transport process to allow placing a child in a therapeutic school or program to be a positive experience to all involved.
We have a reputation of quality in our personalized approach of preparing each youth we work with for the school or program that we are escorting the youth to.
We make an effort to personally visit and tour all of the youth programs we market our youth transport services to. We know that placing your child in a youth program is a very important and sometimes troubling decision to make. We like to be able to provide as much comfort and knowledge to any of the youth, parents, family members, programs, and consultants that may we may be working with. Visiting and touring the programs personally, allows New Start Transports in its associates to feel more confident in the services we are supporting a worried youth to. Please ask us if we have toured and visited the program you are considering.
New Start Transports attends nationally recognized and accredited conferences to allow us the knowledge and resources of the best youth program help available. The National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Program (NATSAP) and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) are two of the recognized member group conferences that we attend regularly.
We employ a full-time human resource department that manages all of our youth transport employees and associates.
We provide the best trained and experienced youth transport associates to work with you and your child.
All of New Start Transports' employees and associates practice the principles of INTEGRITY, COMPASSION, and RESPECT to every youth and parent we work with.

New Start Transports does not work with any one individual youth school, wilderness program, or any other programs. We provide safe youth transportation to and from many programs, schools, and other youth facilities nation and world wide. We support all of the youth schools and programs we market to, united in the same cause, to give struggling youth a New Start in their lives. We believe that this New Start can, and does, begin with the youth transport service that we provide to the youth and families we serve.
