New Start Transports - Alicia Hardy - Executive Assistant
I have currently worked for New Start Transports for over one year. Prior to joining New Start Transports, I worked as a nurses assistant at a state mental health facility for five years. I worked with disabled and mentally ill adults. I have experience and have been trained to handle various types of crisis situations. I enjoy working with the youth and appreciate the time I am able to spend talking to during the transports. I also enjoy any time I spend talking to the parents. I am able to travel with the company and attend many of the national youth program conferences available. I have been trained in MANDT, NCI, CPR, and First Aid.
I first moved to Utah when I was 19 years old, from southern California. I initially moved to Utah to go to college and work in the direction of obtaining my RN degree in Nursing. At 21, I decided to take a break and serve a full-time church service mission. I came back to Utah at 23 years of age and have been working in the related work areas since, while attending college part-time. I enjoy new challenges and learning new things in life.
I enjoy working and I am glad to have the opportunity to work with youth. I feel that helping youth is very important and a top priority in today's world. New Start Transports has been a great company to be a part of. It is great to be part of a company that exceeds the parents' and youths' needs before, during, and after the transport takes place.
