Hala Paongo - Assistant Associate - New Start Transports
Aloha! My name is Hala Paongo. For the past 5 years I have been involved with youth programs in Utah. My wife Kayla and I have worked in different group homes and we have thoroughly enjoyed our association with the youth. We feel our life's work is to be good role models and examples to the young men and women we work with. It is important to make a difference in their lives because there are so many distractions, wrong influences and bad role models bombarding our youth today.
Most of my experience comes from being able to play on the BYU Cougars football team who were #1 in the Mountain West Conference. I learned many values and principles on the playing field and I use much of what I learned from great leaders like Coach Bronco Mendenhall as teaching points for the youth in group homes. I received a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from BYU Provo and have been trained in NCI, First Aid and CPR.
Working with New Start Transport has been a wonderful experience. New Start Transport lives up to its name and offers each young man or woman a great way to get a fresh start. This company cares for their youth and takes great pride in ensuring that they are safe, respected and cared for. As a father of a young son, I understand how important your child's safety is. I support New Start Transports' focus on integrity, respect and compassion toward youth. Thank you for your confidence in New Start Transports.
