Training Manager for Youth Transport Service

I am Jacob Hardy, the Training Manager for the youth transport associates of New Start Transports and Lead Associate.  I find great enjoyment and satisfaction in working with adolescent youth.  I have had many opportunities in working with youth in various occupations: youth treatment school programs, adolescent ranch academies, and ,most recently, in the youth transport service.  I strongly encourage parents who are placing their child in a youth program or school to use the benefits of a professional and personalized youth transport service.  My family and I learned this lesson the hard way.

In my early teens, I found myself struggling to find my identity in life.  My family decided to place me in a youth wilderness program and transported me independent of any outside assistance.  I quickly realized this, as my mother was driving the opposite direction of home on the freeway.  I began to go physically out of control in a last attempt to manipulate my mother to change her mind.  I opened the door on the freeway and threatened to jump out of the car.  My mother was in tears for the entire trip.  I successfully graduated the outdoor youth wilderness program, but as I look back  it would have been less traumatic for my family and me if my parents would have had the knowledge of and hired a professionally licensed and insured youth transport service.  I am now thankful to my parents and the youth wilderness program that I participated in.  I have committed most of my adult career to working with worried parents and struggling youth in similar situations.   I am excited each time I am able to successfully intervene and provide a safe youth transport.

I originally  voted on our company name, New Start Transports, because I believe the minute the youth transport begins, the youth's opportunity for a new start does as well.  I am happy to help support the youth program and teen transport industry in saving the lives of our youth and reuniting them to their families with more knowledge and tools to make more positive decisions.  I believe that New Start Transports is able to provide an unique level of service that no other youth transport company can compare to.  With the founders of New Start Transports, being a former family participants of private youth programs on three separate occasions, I believe our company has been enabled to have a more sincere level of care and concern in the youth transport service that is provided by us and our team members.

I received a Bachelor in Criminal Justice from UNLV.  I am a certified trainer in the Crisis Prevention Institute's Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and also maintain training in CPR and First Aid.
